- Ahem, your analogy on the availability of good alternatives seems a
- bit crippled. Ever hear of Amiga Linux or Amiga NetBSD Unix? Works
- fine on my "oldish" A2000, I can tell you. On an Amiga, you can have
- an OS with all the features you seem to want - Unix - and it's here
- right now, and for free, including XWindows. Ok, you need a 32-bit
- CPU/Amiga, but 68000's were 'out' since 1991.

- I agree, but it's not like Amiga users can't have their cake
- and eat it. There's already an alternative on the Amiga if you really
- want to have an MP'd OS on your machine.
